The Sunny Islands offer you first class possibilities in the installation of self-sufficient energy systems. In conjunction with a battery pack the devices form a self-sufficient AC voltage grid, which meets with the highest of quality standards. In the Sunny Island System, electricity generators and consumers are integrated in equal measure. PV and wind energy systems, diesel devices, water or block heating power stations can be coupled on the AC side just as conventional 230 Volt consumers. The Sunny Island 2012 / 2224 : Both Sunny Islands are perfectly suitable for the installation of smaller systems. They are equipped with all proven product properties of the big brother SI 5048. They therefore guarantee a reliable and efficient system management. The high protection class IP54 and the Sunny Remote Control (SRC-1) service unit ensure maximum freedom in the choice of installation location. Reduced in weight and volume the Sunny Islands offer the simplest of handling and installation.

The charge controller Sunny Island Charger 40 promises flexibility: it is perfectly suited for use worldwide and universally adjustable for 12, 24 and 48 V. Its broader DC input voltage range allows for combination with almost all PV-modules. At the same time the integrated MPP-Tracking assures an extremely high energy yield.

Multicluster Boxes : Easy build-up of stand-alone and hybrid systems. Assemble large stand-alone systems with little effort: the Multicluster Boxes for the Sunny Island 5048 makes possible the easy assembly of stand-alone and hybrid systems up to 110 kW. The boxes take over the AC main distribution and offers an integrated generator- and load shedding protection. A parallel connection from two to four 3 phase clusters - each consisting of three Sunny Islands 5048 - is possible.
