Grid-Tie Solar Systems: Examples

Very popular in European countries, where residents may feed excess power back into the grid; solar panels provide power during the day, and at night power is drawn from the mains. Those engaged in product manufacture and others in large factories and warehouses are generally using a substantial amount of electricity during daylight hours, which makes them excellent candidates for grid-tied solar energy.

For South African consumers, we recommend a battery bank to ensure power during power failures or loadshedding. Sinetech has supplied the following designed and approved systems to customers. The most common configurations include:

Please note that all the systems depicted on this page have been designed by Sinetech’s engineers using equipment and components that are tested and certified by us as being suitable for use in PV solar and backup power systems commissioned by us. Failure to use components other than those specified by Sinetech means we will not be able to guarantee the functionality of the system and may also result in inefficiency.
